Elementary Classroom Teachers
We are looking for teachers who feel passionately about hands on, multidisciplinary learning, the outdoors and the unique mission of WPCS. Candidates should be innovative visionaries who are committed to being life-long learners. The ideal candidates appreciate autonomy, have some experience with curriculum writing and enjoy working as part of a collaborative team. We are looking for teachers who are flexible, enjoy working within the community, are comfortable working with underserved populations and can demonstrate their capabilities by maintaining a track record of measurable student gains. Support Staff
Watershed is looking for a lunch and recess assistant to help out every day that students are in the building from 10:30-1:30. Responsibilities would include cleaning and disinfecting tables in the cafeteria and recess monitoring. Assistants will help students throughout their lunch. Please call the school between 8-4 if you are interested!
Office Support
Financial Assistant
Watershed Inc. is looking for a financial assistant to handle the daily financial operations of the nonprofit. Candidates should be proficient in quickbooks, bookkeeping and financial record keeping and reporting. This position will coordinate administrative transactions and require proficiency in MS Office and Google docs. The Financial Assistant is expected to have strong organizational and time management skills as well as strong communication and proofreading. Top candidates will have experience in a similar role.
This is a half time position allocated 20 hours per week. This position is salaried, but not benefits eligible. This position reports to the WPCS Executive Director. Full description here.
Facilities & Operations
Maintenance Tech
Watershed Inc. is looking for a Maintenance Tech with an outstanding knowledge of building trades, general upkeep and maintenance. The Maintenance Tech is expected to have strong organizational and time management skills as well as the ability to project manage and supervise others. Some administrative skills are preferred. Candidates should be familiar with maintenance procedures and be knowledgeable about health and safety regulations and practices. Top candidates will also have some background or interest in agriculture and the mission of our school.
Regular hours are 7am-3pm with occasional weekend and evening work. This position is salaried, but not benefits eligible. This position reports to the WPCS Executive Director. Full description here.
