After learning the vision and mission statement of Watershed Public Charter School, I wanted to be a part of the development of this innovative learning experience. Incorporating experimental curriculum along with student based direction, allowing scientific explorations of the natural world with an outdoor classroom are all aspects which appealed to me. Having a hands on integrative educational experience will benefit so many who desire this as an option. As the movement increases to provide alternatives to students, I am excited that WPCS will now be available for children in Baltimore County.
