Why Watershed?
I want Watershed to be a beacon for environmentally conscious families and families that are interested in becoming environmentally conscious. Outdoor learning is vital to teaching children to be passionate about taking care of the world we live in.
Biography:
Leah is a stormwater engineer for the state of Maryland, a mother of two wonderful children, a spouse to a fantastic partner, and an avid birder. My life centers around the environment and my role as a human in it. I’m passionate about preventing pollution and planting native plants to help our native animals! My family and I enjoy hiking, backpacking, rock climbing, and generally being outside. My hope is that I can be a positive influence for the board and the school.
