A 25 year veteran of medical publishing, she started a new career teaching high school science in Westminster, Maryland. After three years as Environmental Literacy Specialist for MSDE, she accepted a position with a wearable technology startup company. She has been an active member of the Maryland Association of Science Teachers board serving as editor of MAST’s newsletter and, eventually, as
President. She possesses a degree in Biology and a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction. Her three daughters are all grown and independent living in Texas, Virginia and Malaga, Spain. Her dog, Gunther, remains ever faithful.
